The Bad News:

Due to a management decision at Broadcast, we and several other clubs could no longer be offered Friday or Saturday nights for the foreseeable.

Given we (and most of our regulars) work full time, we reluctantly had to decline the offer of a Thursday or Sunday, so for now that’s the end of our tenure in Broadcast.

We’re sure we’ll be back playing in Broadcast again at some point, and want to put on record how much we love all the bar staff, security, tech staff, and bookers we’ve worked with there who have treated us and our crowd with love, respect, and kindness for the past few years.

The Good News:

We have been in conversations with a new venue and hope to have it confirmed ready for January. And ahead of that we’re doing the following nights in December:

Some of you will have remembered we did a couple of nights right before lockdown called Heartbreak beat, named after DJ Catnip’s former Subcity Radio show. Well, we’re happy to announce it’s coming back as a monthly thing!

Come join us on the second Friday of the month down in Bloc+ on Bath Street, for a night that’s a little bit more on the synth/italo lines. Not saying zero goth, but very much more on the electronic side.

Free entry all night, kitchen open until VERY late, job’s a good ‘un.

It’s happening! We’ll be back on August 28th, then back to our regular third Saturday of the month in Broadcast. Please keep an eye on the website and Facebook page for updates.

We would ask that you only attend if you feel well, and if it has been more than two weeks since your second vaccine.

As we have no cash desk or way of screening people, we’re trusting you to do the right thing. Please look after yourself and others. If you’re not comfortable coming back yet, we entirely understand, and we’ll be here to welcome you back with open arms when you’re good and ready.

Streams will continue, but now monthly instead of fortnightly, on the first Saturday of the month, at around 19:30 – 22:30 Scottish Republic Time.

Hey lovely folks. We’re obviously not able to run clubnights while we’re under lockdown. You can catch us roughly every two weeks on Twitch on a Saturday evening where we’ll stream all the tunes you know and love live!
