Danse Macabre is a goth/italo/post-punk LGBTQ+ clubnight and community in Glasgow, Scotland. Established 2010.

We have run our LGBTQ+ goth/disco clubnight Danse Macabre in various venues across Glasgow since 2010 (currently in The Flying Duck), as well as occasional guest slots at other events across Scotland. We also do a monthly livestream on the first weekend of every month for those unable to make it to in-person events.

In the past we have done radio shows, ran a dark disco/wave night called Heartbreak Beat from 2019-2025, put on goth bands from across the world, printed a local community goth zine, and organised daytime social events for alternative folk in Glasgow.

FAO Bands: We are not currently able to organise gigs for bands. DJing is a hobby for us, and the day jobs mean we’re exceptionally unlikely to have capacity to put on bands for the foreseeable, much as we’d love to!
