Looking for somewhere cheap, dark, and sweaty to go to after Pride? Whether you’ve been out on the march, in the No Pride In Genocide bloc, having Soft Drinks in QP, or just resting away from the madness of the outside world: we’re here for your evening.

No guest DJ or £12-20 entry, just your fave queer goth night ready to melt your makeup. Last year’s Pride DM was the busiest night we’ve ever had, we’d love to see you all back again. <3

This month, we will also be taking donations at the booth, at the desk, and with a portion of ticket sales, to Diabetes UK, in memory of a loved one.

Please also note we will have at least one photographer out: their contact details will be printed on signs on the walls/doors in case you wish to not be in any shots we put up publicly. You can also contact us directly via info@danse-macabre.co.uk if that’s easier.

ACCESSIBILITY

The venue is a basement venue, accessed down a flight of stairs. If you wish to discuss ways to access, please contact the venue directly.

We will be using mostly low lighting and smoke machines, visibility may be limited. Audio levels should be loud enough to dance to, but low enough that you shouldn’t need to raise your voice to chat. If you need earplugs, please ask bar staff or DJs.

All toilets are gender-neutral. There are two sets, both to the right-hand side of the stage.

Danse Macabre operates a strict safe space policy and will not tolerate bigotry of any kind. Anyone who feels uncomfortable, harassed, or in danger, should immediately come to the DJ booth, and a member of venue staff or security will be called if required.

The nearest railway station is Glasgow Queen Street, and the nearest Subway stations are Cowcaddens and Buchanan Street. The area is served by a number of buses, with Buchanan Bus Station only a few minutes’ walk away.

Spring has finally returned, and what better way to celebrate the sunlight and new life than by piling into a dark basement and listening to songs about death? We’re romantic like that.

Four hours of non-stop goth from 1979-2025, italo disco designed specifically to make you say “hey wait, I can dance to this!”, and whatever Razormaid remixes of 80s synthpop we feel like chucking in. It’s our party, you can cry if you want to. <3
